Assist with late registration and package pick up. The volunteers will report to the volunteer manager and be assigned their training on the job. Volunteers in this area must be punctual and have good communication skills. 

Meeting Place: Miniature Railway Train Yard at the Volunteer Tent.

Volunteers will work with the Baggage Check Manager to collect and store runners gear while they are participating in the event. Volunteers will need to have good verbal communication skills.

COURSE MARSHALS- you will be responsible for directing participants, encouraging them and making sure they stay on route.

The Marshals will be placed in location by the Course Marshal coordinators and will receive on the job training as they are stationed at the locations on the course.

Volunteers will assist in the distribution of water to the runners at one of two Water Stations on the running course. The Marshals will report to the Water Station Managers who will give them on the job training.

Volunteers will help distribute water to the runners as they finish the 8K fundraising run. The volunteers will also assist in setting up the water station and taking it down after the event.

Volunteers will work with the Finish Line manager to assist in the distribution of food to the event participants.

Volunteers will assist the Finish Area manager distribute items to the participants that finish the race. These volunteers will make sure that all participants receive their reward for completing the event.

Vous serez responsable de distribuer les trousses et les chandails aux coureurs du 5K et du 21K avant leur course.

Vous devrez vous enregistrer à la table des bénévoles à l’intérieur du Complexe aquatique lors de votre arrivée à 6h30. Le Complexe aquatique est localisé sur l’île Ste-Hélène au Parc Jean-Drapeau (à côté de la station de métro Jean-Drapeau). You will be responsible for handing out race packages and t-shirts to runners on race morning!

 

You will need to check in inside Complexe Aquatique at the Volunteer table for 6:30am.  Complexe Aquatique is located just behind Parc Jean Drapeau Metro Station on Ile Ste-Helene.
